Tiken Jah Fakoly

Country: Ivory Coast

Tiken Jah Fakoly, born Doumbia Moussa Fakoly on June 23, 1968, in Odienné, Côte d’Ivoire, is a prominent Ivorian reggae singer and songwriter known for his politically charged music. Fakoly has collaborated with numerous African and international artists, contributing to albums and compilations such as African Holocaust by Steel Pulse, Dimanche à Bamako by Amadou & Mariam, and participating in films and documentaries highlighting Africa’s social and cultural issues.
