He gained recognition for hits like "Living In Love" and "Can't Satisfy Her" from his debut album, Lava Ground. Early Life Raised by his aunt and her husband Ansell Collins, a renowned keyboard player, I Wayne was immersed in music from an early age. He began performing at age seven and joined the local group Vibes Machine while a student at Greater Portmore High School. The group performed at local clubs such as Cactus and Asylum. On one occasion, he performed solo when his bandmates were late, earning a strong audience response that motivated him to pursue a solo career.
