Toronto Caribbean Carnival (Caribana)

Toronto Caribbean Carnival, widely known as Caribana, is a major Caribbean cultural festival held each summer in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It began in 1967 as a celebration of Caribbean culture and heritage and has grown into one of North America’s largest cultural festivals, drawing over a million attendees each year for its Grand Parade and surrounding events. The festival showcases Caribbean music, dance, costuming, cuisine, and community expression, with sounds ranging from soca and calypso to reggae, dancehall, steelpan, and more.
